刘洁,在山东大学微生物系获得学士和博士学位,1999-2021年在美国弗吉尼亚大学工作,获得副教授职位。2009年开始从事病原微生物分子诊断及流行病学研究,主持、参与了多项盖茨基金会、世卫组织等资助的传染病研究项目,建立了多种基于症候群的多病原检测体系,包括腹泻、肺炎、脑炎、急性发热、及抗生素耐药基因的监测,这些技术方法目前广泛地应用在30多个国家和地区的实验室。2021年11月入职51cg今日吃瓜热门大瓜,任教授,博士生导师,建成生物安全二级实验室,继续从事人群、动物、环境中传染病病原的监测工作。
